Export Readiness & Market Diversification
BBN Labs builds the assets Canadian exporters need to enter a new market. That includes website adaptation for the target market, plus translated and culturally adapted pages, with licensed translators coordinated where certification matters. We also build product catalogues and one-pagers, distributor decks, trade-show graphics, QR-enabled handouts, international lead capture and B2B portals. Everything is scoped to line up with export-program cost categories, so funded projects claim cleanly. CanExport SMEs is currently accepting 2026–27 applications.
What you get
- Target-market website adaptation and landing pages
- Translation coordination (licensed translators where required)
- Product catalogues, spec sheets and one-pagers
- Distributor and buyer pitch decks
- Trade-show banners, booth graphics and QR-enabled handouts
- International enquiry forms and lead capture
- Distributor/dealer portals and B2B catalogues
- Scope-and-quote packages aligned to export-program categories
What it fixes
- A U.S. or overseas buyer found you and your materials weren't ready
- Your website speaks only to local customers in one language
- Trade shows approach with no booth assets, no catalogue, no follow-up system
- Export funding exists but its cost categories are a maze

The honest read on funding
CanExport SMEs is currently accepting 2026–27 applications for market-development activities in a new target market. The deadline is extended to August 31, 2026, with up to $50,000 per project. You now need at least 3 full-time employees and $300k in revenue to qualify. Ordinary domestic marketing never qualifies. Program rules and approval decide everything. Read the applicant's guide or ask us to screen your fit.

Frequently asked questions
Can CanExport pay for translating my website?
Translation and adaptation of marketing tools for a specific new target market is the kind of activity the program has historically supported. Eligibility still depends on your business meeting current minimums, the market being genuinely new for you, and the activity fitting the current guide's categories. Confirm against the 2026–27 applicant's guide before budgeting; Global Affairs decides.
We sell a bit into the U.S. already. Does that disqualify us?
Market-readiness rules look at your existing sales in the target market. Significant existing sales can disqualify that market while leaving others open. Current rules also require choosing either the U.S. or other international markets per project, not both. This is exactly what a screening conversation sorts out before you invest in an application.
