Check your fit →

Is this for you?

  • You are a B.C.-based producer, processor, or industry association with at least $30,000 in annual revenue for the past two years.
  • You already hold a valid Buy BC logo licence that was approved before you apply.
  • You have the cash flow to pay 100% of your project costs upfront and wait for reimbursement after the work is done.

Probably not the right fit if

  • You are a retailer, wholesaler, distributor, farmers' market, or non-profit organization, as these entities are explicitly ineligible for this cost-share funding.
  • You need funding for SEO, Google Search Ads, or non-boosted social media posts, since these are excluded expenses.
  • You cannot self-fund your required cost-share portion (50% for first-time producers, 65% for returning producers, or 30% for associations) until after the project ends.

How much you'd realistically get

Up to $15,000/year for small producers (revenue under $250,000) or up to $30,000/year for larger producers (revenue over $250,000); up to $75,000/year for industry associations.

  • Staff wages for marketing activities (capped at $2,000/year for producers).

What's excluded or restricted

  • Non-boosted social media postings.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) related activities, including Google Search Ads.
  • Subsequent label or packaging printing costs (only the first run is eligible).
  • Similar or repetitive activities conducted in previous years unless substantial modifications/enhancements are proposed (e.g., new products or different locations for in-store demos).
  • Expenses incurred before the Funding Agreement is signed.
  • Applications from farmers’ markets, agricultural fairs, food hubs, other processing facilities, non-profit organizations, exhibitions, retailers, wholesalers, or distributors.
  • Late submissions (after 16:00 PST on Feb 20, 2026).
  • Applications that do not meet mandatory requirements or are not evaluated as best aligning with program objectives (merit-based allocation).
